Ongoing Activities

Dudjom Terser Sangchen Drubpi Gatsal Sangha

Khenpo visited Vietnam in 2018 & 2022 and has since established Dudjom Terser Sangchen Drubpi Gatsal Sangha, Vietnam. Khenpo founded DTSDG sangha in Kathmandu, Nepal with many students present. DTSDG is a place to practice Buddhadharma and the Dudjom lineage inparticular. DTSDG students are now practicing Dudjom Terser Concise Ngondro in Nepal and Vietnam. They are provided guidelines for the practice of the Dudjom lineage by Khenpo himself. Khenpo is hoping one day that members from his Sangha will complete a three year retreat according to the Dudjom lineage. As Buddha taught us “I show you the path; liberation depends on you.” Khenpo inspires the students to practice with devotion, whether the practice is big or small. Actual realization comes through the deep experience of practices, not by chattering dry words or reading the books.

Translating Dudjom Lineage Texts

Since learning English, Khenpo has been continuously translating prayers and sadhanas from the Dudjom lineage for the benefit of his students. He has translated long and short Vajrakilaya sadhanas, including treasure texts revealed by Dudjom Lingpa, a short Green Tara sadhana by HH Dudjom Rinpoche, a Vajrasattva sadhana by Dudjom Rinpoche, and many others.

Future Projects

Monastery

Khenpo’s students based in Thulopatal, Nepal requested that he build a monastery in Kathmandu in order to ordain and teach monks from their village. Khenpo compassionately responded that he will start a small monastery and take around 15 young monks under his care. Khenpo and his main students are currently making efforts to raise money to sustain the costs of this vision. For more information or to make monetary donations, please email [email protected].

Thulopatal

In recent years, Khenpo has established an auspicious connection with the town of Thulopatal in a rural Himalayan region of Nepal. Due to modernization and their rural location, the residents living there feel they are losing connection to their Tibetan Buddhist roots due to a lack of spiritual direction and support. Khenpo has responded to their need and has begun planning teachings and empowerments in the village. Furthermore, Khenpo and his sangha intend to help Thulopatal build a small temple and stupa, build a secular school, and help establish running water and electricity for the residents.
